Find the domain and range of the function, f(x)=sin|x|

mhanifa:

The domain is the set of x-values. For the given function there is no restriction, hence the domain is any real number. The range is the set of y-values. For the given function sin|x| the range is same as sin(x) which is always between -1 and 1, even if the value of x only positive. Can you state the answer based on the above?
