That's cool. I forget who said it, but I recall the expression, "Good artists borrow; great artists steal." I think using other images as references can be a way to build your own style too!

yea, i draw based off of an image because i cant' draw crona/other people just from memory

That makes sense. It takes a lot of knowledge about shapes, structures, and perhaps anatomy to be able to draw something like a character from memory. Using references is a good way to build up that knowledge base. You're getting some good practice, I think!
