The media through television, movies, and the Internet can affect a person's body image. Can books also contribute to this problem? Why or why not? Please Help me-- (╥﹏╥)

I think so. It’s less obvious than TV, magazines, etc. but books can shape how people think about their bodies. As an example, many authors have a habit of making their villain characters overweight and their hero characters fit to further the association in people’s minds.
