What is a main idea of “A Model of Christian Charity”? The settlers should strive to uphold God’s laws because the world is watching. The Puritan model of religion is superior to other forms of religious practice. If they place themselves first, there is little risk of failure for the Puritans. The fate of future generations depends most on the colony’s economic success.

The third option "if they place themselves first, there is little risk of failure for the Puritans" seems to embody the idea of selfishness, which would be at odds with the title of the piece "A Model of Christian Charity". From skimming the writing as well, I do not think this is the right answer. It seems as though the author, John Winthrop, is using his writing as a call to action for the Christian people. Can you tell what he is asking them to do? And once you've found the answer to that, which choice would that point towards?
