If I Mother bird Lays eggs, And Then Tree falls over, but the eggs survive and the nest is on the ground, what happens to the Eggs, does the Mother Bird just leave the eggs, or does she move them some how?
Idk man, I guess the bird might try to move them first but if it doesn't then it might just leave them.
I guess the mother bird might try to move the eggs if she can find them, or she might just give up on that batch of eggs and try again next year. Maybe it depends on the type of bird?
i think they only abandon an egg if they smell the scent of forein animals or other birds on them
Huh ok
thats why your not allowed to touch eggs if you find them. because the mother will abandon them
nope thats a true fact. look it up UwU
ok i will
well technicaly they have a poor sence of smell but its someting like that. idk how they know
"In most cases, the parents are nearby and may be waiting for you to leave the area. Touching animals can also result in diseases passing from wildlife to humans, or vice versa. However, if you do inadvertently happen to touch a bird's egg or nest, rest assured that your scent alone won't cause the parents to flee."
like I said, Wives tale
well, that is simply what my parents and all nature instructors have told me
They tell you that so you don't touch them
my parents wouldnt say something like that just to get me not to touch it XD
yep xD, Either that or they're dumb enough to believe the Wives tale
True lol
well overall, i think if a tree were to fall over i just cant see a mother bird just giving up on her eggs like that.
im sure they will search for them
Ya, And like try to push the eggs to a nearby bush
some animals though... are just HARSH. in unexplainable ways
