I would recommend writing this down somewhere. When you work more than 40 hours a week, any hours over 40 are called "overtime" hours. Cindy worked 43 hours, which means she worked 43 - 40 = 3 overtime hours. She will get paid for the regular 40 hours at $7/hr, so 40*7 She will also get paid 1.5 * her salary for overtime hours. So 3 hours * 1.5 * 7. Add the overtime and regular hour income.
