FexrlessRxby is right, direct answers are always discouraged, since we want to encourage users to learn and understand how to solve problems for themselves.

AnimeWeeebLMAO's second response is a better example of what an answer and explanation should look like, although they still give the direct answer as part of that. If the direct answer were removed, it would be a perfect example of a proper response :)
