start w/ the multiplication first (PEMDAS) you have 2*3 by a 3*2 matrices. looking at the outer dimensions, you'll have a 2x2 matrix as the result. using this method: https://www.mathsisfun.com/algebra/images/matrix-multiply-a.svg first row first column of the product becomes (n)(-4n) + 5n(mn) + (-4n)(0) = -4n^2 + 5mn^2 + 0 repeat with the rest of the matrices.

this shows the basic pattern for filling out the rest of the product matrix https://cdn.kastatic.org/googleusercontent/rk4fR1jNJsGUfdHOc87UzuQh2zokwYDoVo3Hk1m3s6ToGDgW6KxgrsUeIj8-CJeV6cNf6WB8B6sRHt3BoGBdVY7h
