Read this excerpt from “The Song of Wandering Aengus” by William Butler Yeats. Though I am old with wandering Through hollow lands and hilly lands, I will find out where she has gone, And kiss her lips and take her hands Which words in the final line of the excerpt are emphasized by the rhythm of the poem

Gdeinward:

Ahy multiple choice options? Seems like a multiple choice question

SmokeyBrown:

The rhythm of the poem, at least as I read it, goes like And *kiss* her *lips* and *take* her *hands*, for the last line, with emphasis placed on every other syllable. In that case, the words which are emphasized on that line would be: kiss; lips; take; hands You can try clapping along as you read aloud and see if that makes it easier to feel the rhythm of the words for yourself. I've attached an audio recording to help demonstrate what I mean: https://voca.ro/16DMDWtmI1nc
