I would probably replace stereotypes with identities, since you're talking about the additional gender identities that people identify with, not stereotypes themselves. Also, if you wish to change people's minds, divisive words are not the way to go. Instead of anger, try compassion. If this isn't your goal, ask yourself who is your audience and what are you trying to achieve? When someone was angry with you and yelled at you, were they able to change your mind or only solidify yours? I think a healthy thought for you to consider is that in the same way you identify as non-binary, someone else might identify as a Christian, Catholic, Protestant, etc. The same way you believe that you are non-binary, they believe that according to their Bible, that there is only man and woman. If it is disrespectful for them to call you a he as opposed to they, is it disrespectful for you to ask them to disavow their beliefs and conform to yours? These kinds of people really aren't homophobes. They just identify as someone who believes contrary to what you believe. I am not invalidating other people's beliefs and their own gender or orientation I am just saying that they should at least try to understand what other people are and at least try to be kind if they can't understand it then that's fine (all these different genders and sexualities are confusing). no one has to throw out their beliefs just to accept someone else.

Oh. Well I think anyone can condemn murder and refusal of adequate medical services. The bathroom situation is more grey. Whilst I understand how it's important to gender identity that they use the bathroom they prefer, you can also get bad actors that choose to use this allowance to gain access to women / male restrooms for malicious purposes. There have been recorded instances of this. For something like this I would advocate for more gender neutral/unisex bathrooms.

Basically my point is that I understand that gender identity is important to people on the spectrum but it leaves a window open to a lot of tragedies. There isn't a clean cut way out of this but hopefully in time we can figure out how to operate in this arena.
