Help please @vocaloid

Vocaloid:

The volume of the marbles is simply the difference of the water before and after the marbles are added. If they care about sig figs: the smallest unit is 0.1mL so going to the next decimal point, your answer should be in 2 decimal places.

kekeman:

So before the marbles go in the water is 4mL then when the marbles are in there the water is 6mL so the next step would be for 6mL - 4mL which is 2mL am i right?

Vocaloid:

yep

kekeman:

So the final answer is 2mL?

kekeman:

We do not need a decimal or anything

Vocaloid:

yeah, if they just take 2 without a decimal, try that

kekeman:

Hmmm well it is not a multiple choice question (it is a esssay question)

Vocaloid:

Oh. Well if it's a free response, I would personally stay on the safe side and mention sig figs (2.00mL) based on the measuring equipment.

kekeman:

Hmmmm ok
