The volume of the marbles is simply the difference of the water before and after the marbles are added. If they care about sig figs: the smallest unit is 0.1mL so going to the next decimal point, your answer should be in 2 decimal places.
So before the marbles go in the water is 4mL then when the marbles are in there the water is 6mL so the next step would be for 6mL - 4mL which is 2mL am i right?
