i got this question

Zayne2001:

what is the answer?

FantasticlyArtsy:

Keiko's teacher was discussing the theory of endosymbiosis. She asked Keiko to mark the organelles in the diagram that most closely resembled prokaryotes. Which organelles should Keiko mark? Prokaryotes, like most living organisms, need movement to locate food and to survive.

Zayne2001:

so would it be chloroplast?

Vocaloid:

You're on the right track. According to endosymbiosis theory, there are two eukaryotic organelles that evolved when prokaryotes were absorbed/taken up into eukarotes. Chloroplasts are *one of them*, do you know what the other one is? As a major hint, it fulfills a similar role (producing energy) but in animals instead of plants.
