my poem review


That’s right, I messed up, I don’t know if I can make up
you put your trust in me, then I turned me back and left you stranded,
I know you hate me, but please open your heart,
or you too will be just like me


Isn’t it funny how a few words, can have your head turnin
and how you can lose everybody who thought you were somebody
the truth is life is tough, you can’t turn your back on what is right


You took my heart and broke it, leaving me all alone
not telling you I still care for you
and for that everyday I cry
I cry for you, knowing you won’t come,
I still wished you cared about me, and not that other guy


I think I’m losing it, cause you are not by my side
why must I take it, no I’m not going to fake it
cause you the one that broke me,
why must I live with this agony
you told me you were my friend,
then you mentally stabbed me in the chest


I know I was a jerk to you, my friend,
I can’t stand to watch you in pain
That’s why I’m leavin, so I can’t hurt you again,
I see that pain in your eyes as you walk by
I know I caused it, I’m the one that lost it


I’m sorry don’t leave, let me just say one thing,
I’m sorry, I was a jerk, I know that I hurt you, but
give me one more chance, yes I was a jerk but I’m tryin to change,
nobody deserves to be hurt the same, like the way you did, it is ok if you
don’t forgive me, but I’m sorry


I close my eyes and I see your face, I see every freckle
I see every hair on your head, I see all your beauty,
but your beauty can’t compare to the way you make me feel,
you make me want to scream out your name, not feeling ashamed,
you make me want to cry tears of joy


Starin into your beautiful eyes, knowing
I’m the luckiest guy in the whole wide world,
cause you’re my girl and one day
I want you to be my wife,
even when we die, you will still be my girl
