Here's a speech that I wrote for my school:
Genuine, Elegant Hearts

Every time I'm around you
I sense a strong feeling
Something not everyone can explain
Perhaps a bit of comfort and friendship
Inside our Genuine, Elegant Hearts
We know not how it starts or where it comes from,
but we have a love for each other.
Sometimes, it can be strange
But that's not a reason for us to change
We are who we are. God made us for a reason.
He loves us all. We come and go like the seasons
We have a place fr this unknown feeling.
We have no reason to stop our kindness
Our hearts are filled with love, hate, joy, anger, fear, sadness, and disgust.
We can't hide it. We can't stop our emotions.
We are strong, powerful people.
We can't decide who can live, die, run, jump, skip, walk, shout, scream, panic, fear, or talk.
Everyone gets mad when you do all the work.
They become jealous of all the things you've accomplished.
This is your life. They can't change who we are.
They cannot control us. They can't get mad at us for the work they didn't do.
We are more than what we think we are.
We can do more than we think we can do.
We are us. They are them.
We care about others because we have genuine, elegant hearts.
We are not weak, but we are not quitters either.
We don't give up. We keep trying until we get it right.
We will not go under and we will never run for cover.
We will not let our school go down because of fights and tik tok challenges that are just dumb.
We can't fight for ourselves. We have t fight for each other to keep our school alive.
We can't keep fighting. We have to learn to accept our differences and work together.
We are a team.
Eighth grade is the example for middle school. This means they have to show the younger kids what the Eighth grade is supposed to look like.
We shouldn't have to always see what we have in common.
Sometimes, we need to rely on our differences to be a good team.
This means letting everyone express their opinions.
I've learned a great appreciation for hard work.
I know it seems crazy, but I love to write.
That's why I write a lot.
We are who we are. We are the people we are going to be in the future. We are strong, powerful, and confident people. We are IKE. We need to be leaders.
We are IKE. We are Eisenhower Middle School. We are up, and we have Geniune, Elegant Hearts.
