Life can be curel and ruthless
but always remember this
You can’t turn you back on life
but you can call somebody your friend
someone who loves you within
not much people have this type friend
someone who will help you through thick and thn,
this type of person is very rare, but
one day they will be everywhere, but until that day comes
we should all be there for someone, no matter the price
because even if it hurts, always remember
you got a friend

My honest opinion is that it sounds more like a story than a poem. Needs a little work, But just keep trying your best.
