chemistry
im not sure how to calculate CH
@vocaloid
C and H are just carbon and hydrogen (CH3CH2)2 start from the inside and work your way out CH3 = 1 carbon, 3 hydrogens CH2 = 1 carbon, 2 hydrogens add everything up then multiply by 2 since you have that 2 outside the parentheses
oh, after that, add O since there's an Oxygen at the end
26.08?
should be much more than that (CH3CH2)2 O inside the parenthese are 2 carbons, 5 hydrogens 2(12) + 5(1.007) = 29.035 double this, since there's a 2 outside the parentheses ---> 2*29.035 = 58.07 add oxygen 58.07 + 15.999 = 74.07
2 times 12?
never mind
is 1.008*5 5.04?
@vocaloid
yes I just did all the calculations in one line to save space
thanks i figured out my mistake
i got 74.123
yeah just be sure to round to 74.12 since they only ask for 2 places
but you got 74.07
mine's a little off because I used C = 12 instead of C = 12.0107 which is a bit more accurate, so yours is closer to the actual value
