I am going to be honest I really dont thing this will work because people are going to want to talk to there freinds on qc. Also if they post a question just because they want to talk to people then it will go down hill fast. Also there are going to be those people who post questions just to talk to other people so I really dont think that is going to work.

I know but people are going to want to chat with other users because they will use the messages and post spam questions or they will just go to qc discord to talk. So I really dont think it will work out.

Still that is what they are going to do. The reason why is that they come to qc to talk and hang out with users. They enjoy it and after a while people are going to post spam and things like that. Then that will get really out of control fast. I really dont think it will work out.

However, we will not be implementing this. The website is designed to support both academic and social elements (in their respective areas).

The chat being disabled was a one day joke and it greatly increased moderation problems.
