it helps to know/sketch what these functions look like for 5f, we know that it's a linear function with a negative slope. so you can calculate the value of the function at x = -1, and x = 4, and the range will be every value within those two values for 5g, this is an absolute value function, so we need to calculate where the vertex is, as well as the y-intercept, and sketch the function, so we have an idea of how the funtion behaves. from there, you can determine what the range is between x = -1 and x = 4 similar logic for 5h
