When a nuke explodes, what happens to the surrounding area afterwards?
I dunno what subject this would be in so science it is :]
Well, It depends what surrounding you're talking about.
you can google this you know?
What's that supposed to mean? .-.
It is uhm, well. it would be damaged serverely.the area would be hit with an EMP destroying all electronic transmitters and recievers, any electronic actually.
Surrounding as in the atmosphere? Or the ground?
yea but its a question you can easily just search on google
It would give off lots of radiation as well.
Nukes are not just explosives, as you can tell.
The surrounding area such as the ground
Well, I do know a shockwave happens after the blow.
What happens after a nuke goes off? BLAST WAVE can cause death, injury, and damage to structures several miles out from the blast. RADIATION can damage cells of the body. FIRE AND HEAT can cause death, burn injuries, and damage to structures several miles out.
The sound also has a slight delay after the blow too.
