Astrid1:
Technically that's not always the case where we kill people because they killed someone. You'd have to have spent a long time killing people to be able to die for your sins.
axie:
Im not saying that death penalty is the only way of dealing with murderers, but I feel that people should die on there own terms, not there own.
Astro:
We want those people to suffer for what they did, and the death penalty is not very common , it is only common in scenarios where the murder tortures his victim
Gorillaz1002:
bc they think if u kill some one you should also be killed........but thats dumb bc life is stressful and horrible and unfair ......so just let them live and be punished by living ....death is a blessing.

Everyone should die on their own terms but life isn't always perfect.
And people have to face consequences for their actions.
People die, and shootings happen, it's not like we can make it stop. Because society won't always listen. They have their own opinions and we can't stop them.

Joe348:
Because sometimes it is rite to kill someone because of all they kills they have that makes it justified
Joe348:

Where im going with this, is it a technical extreme form of the golden rule? Do unto others as you want done unto you?

Well, There is reason to it so. There is two sides of the story but personally I think it is unfair to most extent, except those rare cases.

In my opinion, I don't feel as if anyone deserves the death penalty. Plus there could be a good possibility that the person might want to die than stay on this earth and be tortured for the rest of their life. Depending on how they kill the person it could take a good bit of time of pain but it beats having the rest of their life in pain.

Like @0mega said, I feel that death penalty is and should only be used for people who made others suffer more than usual amounts [per killer norms] such as terrorists and other things i dont care to get specific about.

What if it was your family who got killed, Then would you want that person to die?

Either way, some pay for their crimes in labor, jail, or death.

We can't stop people from their habits. It's just socially awkward and you can't just tell them, "hey stop." Because it sure as hell wont do crap to the situation. They'll probably just kill u as well.

The point is, as long as their facing their consequences and they learn from what they've done, the situation has been resolved for one.

Honestly, if it was my family that was killed I'd rather the person be tortured than killed, mostly so they could spend their life in pain than just a few seconds.
