We're trying to solve for \(\pi\) That means we want to get it all by itself. To do that, we have to move 2 and r to the other side C = 2 * \(\pi\) * r now, you can see that \(\pi\) is being multiplied with 2 and r To move 2 and r to the other side, you have to do the opposite of multiplication what is the opposite of multiplication? addition? subtraction? or division?

so for example, if you had y = 5 * x and we wanted to get x all by itself since 5 is being multiplied with x, we would divide 5 on both sides to get 'x' all by itself and we would end up with y/5 = x
