I took the battery Out of my chromebook and I've noticed it has a big bulge should I get this replaced?

Either the battery will short your computer's components or it will explode, leave a gross mess, and also short your computer. I think you might get around it due to the fact that it wasn't your fault for ruining the battery.

They better let it slide, diagnosing a hardware issue is more important. (also, what model is your Chromebook? I am going to look on ebay to find the average price for a replacement battery, hopefully, it will reduce any possible fees)

I replaced my last chromebook battery too untill they took the chromebook from me for making to many custom mods to it

how is replacing a battery considered a mod?! All you did was reduce the repair fees for the electronic by doing it yourself.
