1st take your Chromebook out of your case

then take the screws out of the bottom and open up the bottom case

Find the battery it should be located under where your mouse pad is

There should be to wire clips conneced to it disconnect those but make sure the chromebook is OFF

Carefully unplug the 2 clips and take out the battery if your chromebook is a newer model it'll have glue inside it keeping the battery in place
