gerlemm017:

Arrange the digits 1-6 in the cicles so that the sum of each side of the triangle equals 10. you may only use each of the 6 digits once. How many arrangements can you find????

gerlemm017:

does not help i think lol

Vocaloid:

Do you have a digram of the original problem? It depends on how the circles are set up.

Vocaloid:

some hints: put 1 at the top logically, the left and right side must add up to 10, and since you already have 1 at the top, the remaining numbers on the left side must add up to 9, same with the right side the only possible combinations are: 3 + 6 4 + 5 so 3 and 6 go together on one side, 4 and 5 go together on the other side, and 2 must go into the remaining spot. I'll let you play around a bit with the numbers. if you get stuck I'll show the full solution.

gerlemm017:

i dont get it can you show me the full solution?

Sadly you can't give answers here, or you wouldn't know how to do it.

Vocaloid:

We put 1 at the top Now, since the left side of the triangle has to add up to 10, try putting 6 and 3 on the left side, in that order Now, 4 and 5 have to go along the right side. Can you figure out the order?
