Can someone please explain how I figure this out? (ss in comments)

Sailor:

Ok you know what a monomial is right?

luvvdani1516:

It's what the original numbers leading up to the final answer is right?

Sailor:

A monomial is a polynomial with one term.

Sailor:

So we need to find monomials that have a LCM of 10x^2y^3

luvvdani1516:

Okay, but im not quite sure how to do that part.

Sailor:

Ok.

Sailor:

So I'm pretty sure that LCM are numbers that are multiplied/divided into a number. LCM aren't numbers that would seem obvious though

luvvdani1516:

Ok

fun

surjithayer:

$10x^2y^3=2xy^2\times 5xy$ $10x^2y^3=5x^2\times 2y^3$ and so on you can write more monomials.

luvvdani1516:

Thank you!
