How to do Two-Step Equations First, You need to write the problem, Then find the variable (The Letter) Second, Identify the operation ( + - / * ) Then whatever the operation is do the OPPOSITE. If it is Times (*) you Divide (/) If It’s Addition (+) you Subtract (-) *Do the same if backward* Third, Whatever the operation is and the number(s) to the right of the equation, Do step 2. Fourth, Do Step 2 to the left side of the equation. Fifth, Then when you have your answer from the left, the other side should JUST be the variable (If it does not, add them) then you have your answer equaling the variable (The Letter). *I am putting a picture example, just in case this does not make sense* If you have ANY questions about this and the pictures do not help, Feel free to message me.
