DreamingWitch:

What is the absolute value of -|-3 2/7| I got 3 2/7 because the absolute value is always positive. The answer was -3 2/7 though, what did I do wrong-?

DreamingWitch:

h e l p - I don't wanna get another thing wrong in my Math homework. Again, lmao.

Sailor:

Ok so what all did you do?

Sailor:

Sailor:

Ok I get the question now.

DreamingWitch:

Sailor:

Because there's a negative sign outside the absolute symbols its negative

DreamingWitch:

That's what I thought originally, except my math teacher also taught that even though there's the negative sign, it's still positive?!?! I'll keep that in mind though!
