According to this table... A. the rock is decelerating as it falls. B. the rock is accelerating as it falls. C. the rock is maintaining a constant speed as it falls. D. the rock will hit the bottom of the canyon soon

Notice how the distance per second increases From 5 to 20 is an increase of 15 meters over 1 second Going further down the table, from 7 to 8 seconds is 320 - 245 = 75 meters per second So if the velocity is increasing, is it accelerating or decelerating?
