Please help Graph a triangle ABC and perform a translation of (x + 4, y − 3) to create triangle A′B′C′. Describe the transformation using words. Make sure you refer to the characteristics and the coordinates. Draw a line through points A and A′ and through points B and B′. What do you notice about the lines you drew? Do you think you would notice the same characteristics if you drew another line through points C and C′? How do you know?

nick28726:

i really just don't understand it and iv looked back in the lesson

nick28726:

Can you help me?

nick28726:

im still here if someone can help/

Vocaloid:

The problem asks to graph *a* triangle ABC You can pick three different coordinates to be your A, B, C (would recommend positive numbers to make the arithmetic easier) Once you have your three points, use the rule (x + 4, y − 3) to transform them. According to the rule, add 4 to every x coordinate, subtract 3 from every y-coordinate to get A’ B’ and C’ Then graph A’B’C’ to get the new triangle

nick28726:

Like graph what points the new ones are at? and just any random points for A B and C?

Vocaloid:

Yeah

nick28726:

Alright thank you! i really appricate it :):)

nick28726:

is there anything i can do to improve your status?

nick28726:

or just to help you?

Vocaloid:

Nah it’s fine I’m here to help

nick28726:

alright well thank. you because of you i might pass this :)
