How do I say that I agree with someone in an essay in a way that is formal?

So, you would start off your agreement by saying "I agree with [insert name here], because..." and go from there.

Make sure to include your thesis if this an introductory/closing paragraph. That will give you topics to write about, and reasons you agree with said person.
