The bottom side of the triangle is 8 squares long The left side is 6 squares long This is a special case of a right triangle. This is a 3-4-5 triangle, but the side lengths get doubled to 6-8-10 Therefore, the diagonal (hypotenuse) is 10 squares long. Each square is 14 cm so the total length of the diagonal is 10*14 cm
