Alfagg:

Alan needs to mix 3 tablespoons of salt with 5 tablespoons of vinegar to make a cleaning solution. How many tablespoons of salt are needed for each tablespoon of vinegar? 5 over 3 tablespoons 3 over 8 tablespoon 3 over 5 tablespoon 5 over 8 tablespoon

Razor:

Alan needs to mix 3 tablespoons of salt WITH 5 tablespoons of vinegar. The answer is right in front of our eyes - do you see it?

Alfagg:

no, i don't see it, that i why i posted it

Razor:

Haha - okay so when you mix something, the inevitable solution is practically dissolving and making up this either physical or chemical reaction. They word this very specifically and in order so you can figure out the answer without issues. Mathematics loves their word play - but since there is no mention of the number 8 we can automatically exclude B and D. Leaving us A and C. Which one do you think it is? Remember how I said that the question is in order.

Alfagg:

a?

Razor:

Switch the numbers for A and you'll have your answer.

Alfagg:

so, C?
