Sweetie145:

Which option tells the forces that influence the movement of Earth’s plates? fluids and temperature magnetism and convection convection and gravity gravity and solar heat

Razor:

Which options do you think the answer ISN'T. So we can start eliminating what is obviously wrong.

Sweetie145:

d and b

Razor:

Leaving us A and C. Now why do you consider A is right? How would fluids and temperature influence the Earth's movement.

Razor:

Global Warming and how like 99% of the Earth is made of water?

Sweetie145:

i think tht it is convection and gravity because Geologists have hypothesized that the movement of tectonic plates is related to convection currents in the earth's mantle. ... Tremendous heat and pressure within the earth cause the hot magma to flow in convection currents. These currents cause the movement of the tectonic plates that make up the earth's crust.

Sweetie145:

if i'm right

Razor:

You're correct :D I'm so proud! Yes! There's a lot of evidence pointing in the direction of convection - which is the movement of fluid that's usually hotter and less dense material to rise, and cold denser material to sink UNDER the influence of gravity. This is the transfer of heat.
