The answer is either B or D because the b is -3 not 3 so A and C are already out of the running. Then you use the points and see if either B or D has a slope of 1. I always start with something with a 0 in the y because it's easier. So take 0-5 over -2-3 and you get -5/-5. When you divide that you get 1. So D would be right because it shows y<x-3.
