KyledaGreat:

x = 2|y| - 1 Find four points contained in the inverse. Express your values as an integer or simplified fraction. {( , ), ( , ), ( , ), ( , )}''.

minustempo:

so the inverse is where you pretty much just switch x and y so y = 2|x| - 1 can you find four points on that line?

KyledaGreat:

i don't think so

minustempo:

so a point is just a pair of x and y values (x,y) so find y if x = 0, 1, 2, and 3, and that'll be 4 points

KyledaGreat:

oh so you mean solve it

KyledaGreat:

y = x/2 + 1/2

KyledaGreat:

@hero

minustempo:

how did you get x/2 + 1/2? It's 2|x|-1

KyledaGreat:

i solved it on mathway , i don't know how to solve it
