acopeland27:

What states a rule using variables.

sammixboo:

Do you happen to have any choices?

acopeland27:

yea a term a formula or a expression

sammixboo:

If I have to take an educated guess, I would say it is equations that we get to solve specific problems. Like to find the circumference of a circle or the slope of a line

sammixboo:

Rules are pretty much a specific way of solving something, and variables are the letters you see in a lot of equations. Do you know the difference between an expression and a formula?

acopeland27:

kinda

sammixboo:

Expressions are pretty much the math problems you see with no equal sign. Formulas are a guideline (aka a rule) that you follow for particular circumstances

sammixboo:

Typically formulas have variables that you plug your own information into

sammixboo:

So knowing all of this, do you think the answer is a formula or expression?

acopeland27:

so the answer is formula

sammixboo:

Correct!!!

acopeland27:

thankyou
