I can see why you would select B, however, not many people may hear of this event and/or may not be able to attend this event due to work or so many other reasons. The best way to reach the most amount of people without any bias is to have them be able to complete it at home, whether it be online or via mail. So they won't have to miss out of work or anything like that!
