First question: We need to translate words into algebraic expressions the length is 4 more than 5 times x what is 5 times x? what is 4 more than that? Here's an example: 'b' is 15 more than time 3 times 'a' If we wrote that as an expression, we would get b = 3a + 15 3 times a is 3a and 15 more than that means we're adding 15 to it and all of that is equal to b so b = 3a + 15
Can you do the same thing for your question now? what is 5 times x? and what is 4 more than that? that's your length
similarly for your width what is 3 times x? and what is 2 less than that? hint: 2 less than means you're subtracting 2 from 3 times x that'll be what your width is equal to
As for drawing the plot, I think you can just draw a random shaped rectangle and then list the expressions you got so far for the length and width for part B) you're trying to find the area they tell you area = length * width so you have to multiply both of those expressions
