What is currently known about mental health problems?
They mess up the way people think, and can mess with the way a person does daily things.
There's quite a few things on the list. Most common ones I've seen are "depression funk" and memory loss. Depression funks are usually what people tend to have when they don't often feel the need to do anything because it feels like it's too much effort to do, even small simple tasks.
Anxiety makes you feel scared about talking to people, scared of what they think of you, or how they see you. And other mental issues can do that too, to the point you don't want to do anything at all.
Well quite a lot is known and quite a lot is still to discover. Scientists know that most mental illness comes from either genetics or a chemical imbalance in the brain.
A lot of overthing occurs, feeling lonely, depressed and anxiety
