MochaBerries:

MochaBerries:

@herdarkknight can u help?? ;w;

Isry:

What do you know about Socrates?

MochaBerries:

not that much we just started learning ab him and other philosophers of greece

Isry:

Just give me a brief overview what you currently know.

MochaBerries:

Socrates was a greek philosopher who wanted people to consider the true meanings of qualities such as justice and courage. he was also seen very often talking ab wisdom and goodness

MochaBerries:

das all ik

Ratjuice03:

Socrates was a philosopher who questioned morality and ethics. By doing so he judged people's actions and deemed them good or bad. By conceiving these ideas and releasing them to the public Greeks saw this as him telling the youth what is "good" and what is "bad" Hopefully this helpes

Isry:

Where did you get this information Ratjuice?

Ratjuice03:

Google also it is kinda common knowledge. Adults who didn't grow up with video games are the same way. The perceive video games as bad cuz they did not grow up with them they are only seeing the negative side effects of video games instead of growing up with them it seemed both points of view.

MochaBerries:

um

Ratjuice03:

It seems you are confused? May I be of further assistance?

MochaBerries:

i still cant find the answer why greeks thought socrates was corrupting youth

Ratjuice03:

Could you post the paragraph here? I can't seem to open the screen shot.

MochaBerries:

oh the ss was the question

MochaBerries:

but i can type out the paragraph ab socrates tho

Ratjuice03:

I believe that might be useful

MochaBerries:

ok ill send a ss of the passage and if that doesnt work ill type it out

MochaBerries:

MochaBerries:

thats all

MochaBerries:

can u see it?

Ratjuice03:

Yes. So in the paragraph you can see that it tells you that Socrates made them question their own beliefs and proved to them that they didn't know what they where talking about. In my own personal opinion if someone did that to me I would be rather embarrassed and upset. The Greeks may of felt the same way

MochaBerries:

oh alright thank you! c:

Ratjuice03:

Also along with the mini paragraph at the bottom it says before his death he urdged his students to question all around them. Whenever you question things around you, you become open to new possibilities and new ways of thinking therefore "corrupting the youth"

MochaBerries:

mmm okii tyty this helped a lot :DD

MochaBerries:

ill close this now
