yu start w making basic shapes and slowly adding details and shading to your creation

So one thing that you could do is pratice copying a picture. Focus on how the shading and lines are. Tutorial videos maybe a big help as well.

For drawing humans, creatures, anything, you want to study it's anatomy. Understanding the anatomy of a human (such as where their muscles and bones lay, and how the skin wraps around them) will make it way easier to draw a human in almost any pose you want, and focus in on any body part you want. You can also learn how to break anything down into its most simple shape, and then add details and more shape from there.
