Medieval feudalism is shaped like a pyramid in terms of rulling. At the top you have your king below the nobals and knights and what not. If you look at a democracy we have a similar pyramid. At the top you have the president Then advisers and what not Government officials. Then you have normal civilians. Basically in short today's society adopted a ruler who is above everyone else and the further you go away from the top the less rule they have
