40 trillion / 7.8 B people ~= $5130

this can be considered truckload in places like Somalia, a lot of money in a third world country, or just a very basic amount of wealth in places like the USA. Part of the reason is how basic goods are priced in these three types of economies. The immediate effect would be a shift in spending power.
