Gucchi:

Harry described two subatomic particles below: Particle P: Revolves around the nucleus of the atom Particle Q: Charged particle inside the nucleus Which of the following statements is correct based on the descriptions of each particle? Particle P will repel Particle Q. Particle P is an electron and Particle Q is a neutron. Particle P is greater in number than Particle Q in a neutral atom. Particle P is negatively charged and Particle Q is positively charged.

Gucchi:

am i right with D?

Gucchi:

Gucchi:

@extrinix

KiWiPoP1:

Particle P would be negatively charged, cause only electrons revolve around the nucleus, and those are a negative charge, and particle Q is positively charged, cause inside the nucleus is a positive charged proton, and a then a neutron

so D?

KiWiPoP1:

Yep, so D would be your answer

Gucchi:

thank you

minustempo:

Yes since a proton is positive and is in the nucleus and the eletron is negative and revolves around
