Which detail best supports the central idea that Clover is disappointed with the farm? “There was no thought of rebellion or disobedience in her mind.” “Whatever happened she would remain faithful, work hard, carry out the orders that were given to her.” “But still, it was not for this that she and all the other animals had hoped and toiled.” “Such were her thoughts, though she lacked the words to express them.”
what do you think it is, first?
Not positive if its C or D. Im going towards C.
I believe it is "But still, it was not for this that she and all the other animals had hoped and toiled.” The first one has nothing to do with disappointment, the second option does not show disappointment either, and the last option is kind of iffy but ultimately C portrays the feeling of disappointment
C
