There's a wide variety we could talk about regarding the Dark Knight: His motivation for doing what he does, his split personas, the guilt that drives him; there are literally tons of topics regarding his psyche.

Okay, I'll start with his alternate personas. Often times, Batman is perceived as mentally unstable. He feels that he is truly Batman whereas Bruce Wayne is just a mask. He often acts far more sociable and carefree when out in public but as Batman he's secretive, guarded, analytical, and often more brutal. It's quite a unique mental situation in his case.

Definitely. He watched his parents get murdered in front of him, has had his back broken by one of his strongest enemies, constantly loses people to corruption or death, and often times separate himself from everyone to avoid hurting them.

He probably has a bit of that slightly. It's a fine balance. He doesn't have split-personality per say, but he does definitely separate the two sides of himself. I suppose Bruce Wayne is more of a mask for him but with Batman he's more free, he's more of himself essentially.

Yes, he's usually more of himself as Batman but he can't just forget being Bruce Wayne. As Bruce Wayne he's a multibillionaire who is the owner of a large company responsible for improving Gotham City. He needs both Batman and Bruce Wayne to effectively make a difference in his war against crime.

LOL, probably not super efficiently. He'd be colder sociably and not as encouraging, which isn't great for building up employees. Additionally, a vigilante can't exactly take over the company without people discovering his identity, which would be bad for him and his loved ones.

He has his moments of enjoyment. Sometimes it's nice not having to be Batman 24/7 and he enjoys spending time with his family. So yes, he doesn't totally rely on being Batman only.

Ok so Joker is a kid who was traumatized growing up. The movie starts where he is living with his mother named penny, In gotham which tbh has so much crime its INSANE. Anyways he suffers from a phycological disorder that makes him laugh at inappropriate times, he relies on his social worker for meds. After he got atacked by a bunch of kids his coworker gave him a gun to keep him safe. Joker gets into a relationship with his neighbor who he invites to his nextt stand up comedy show at the hospital. WHen he's performing this gun falls out of his pocket, and he is fired. When he gets on the subway to go home he still has clown makeup on and everything. Anyways he gets beaten up by three guys that work at wayne enterprises after accidently laughing at their attempts to harass this lady. He shoots two of them in self defense and kills the third while hes getting away. Thomas Wayne hears bout this jazz and starts calling people jealous of richer people 'clowns'. All the sudden people start wearing clown masks and funding is cut short for social services meaning joker dont get his meds or his therapy anymore.

Afer this he opens a letter from thomas wayne to his mom that says he is thomas's kid. He goes to the wayne manor and meets a young batman but leaves after a situation with alfred. His mom later suffers a stroke and his idol shows clips from his comedy show that are making fun of him. Joker sneaks into a movie theater where he confronts Wayne who says his mom is completly delusional. In denail he breaks into the hospital and steals his moms record which says she adopted him with her boyfriend who abused him and as such was thrown in jail. He died their and penny went to the mental hospital. Penny says the adoption papers are forged to make it look like Wayne isnt his father. DIstraught he goes to sophies (his girlfriends) apartment where she tells him to get out. He discovers his relationship with her was only a figment of his imagination.

The next day Joker goes to the hospital and murders his mom by suffocating her with a pillow. Joker is invited to appear on a show where he meets his old 2 coworkers. He murders the one who gave him the gun out of spite but lets the other live cuz he wuz nice to him. 2 detectives find him in the middle of this in clown makeup, they persue him. One detective accidently shoots a protester whoch leads the others to attack him, allowing Joker to get away. Before the show is released he asks the host to refer to him as joker and then admits to all the murders. When the host critisizes him he shoots him in the head. He is arressted for the protests and murders. One protester corners the wayne family in an alley and murders the parents. On the way to rushaway from the scene the ambulance full of protesters crashes into the cop car allowing joker to escape. He stands on top of the car and dances then smears blood on his face like a smile. In the mental hospital he laughs at a joke he has in his head. The therapist asks what he is laughing at and he says she wouldnt understand. He then runs away from her leaving a trail of bloody footprints behind.

This is where the movie ends. Overall this is my very favorite movie EVER!
