Okay, just draft verses for tonight until I get the inspiration to add to them. I'm on a writer's block because I can't find the right words to describe these feelings. Might rephrase bits later on but words are failing my senses as of now.


I'll be the one to start, I don't care
Follow your heart, and I'll meet you there
If I fall apart, will I be spared?
Kept in the dark so I’ll feel rare
I lost the mark, now I’m nowhere

I’m letting you close enough to hurt me
I’m giving you my trust and I’m hoping
You’ll never get up and desert me
It’s why I’m always moving slowly
To make sure you’ll be mine to keep
‘Forever, always and eternity’, show me

So I watch my step and move steadily
Not sure what could be ahead of me
I wish I saw me as who you see
Maybe then I wouldn’t be so worried
That you’ll just want to up and leave
Hang on your words just to breathe
Selfish or not, I don’t wanna let you be
So you won’t realize I’m not what you need
But maybe I just overthink

Try to write a song to tell you how it feels
It’s something I can’t describe
I write two lines and words disappear
This feeling hasn’t been defined
It’s all new and so unclear
But if I try, I might get an underline
It’s worth it if I can be that sincere
Maybe I just need a sign
