Today we are announcing our third cohort of ambassadors!

It will consist of: @KjSaif and @SmokeyBrown.

These members of the community will be on the front lines aside the moderators, helping out users, promoting the site, and protecting its integrity. Going forward if you need help with anything site related, feel free to reach out to one of the ambassadors.

As a note on the ambassador program for those that didn't make it, don't fret. We received more than 100 applications and many of the candidates were promising. It just came down to making sure they were the right fit and followed several of the criterion. One of the major infractions was having an account less than 6 months in standing. What this means is that when we next recruit, many of you can likely be in the running. Some other areas to work on is contributing to the site in a meaningful way by helping out users and having a friendly presence on the site.

Our next set of applications will likely be next spring semester. This gives everyone a chance to improve and show they would make great ambassadors!

Thank you all for your continued support and interest in the site. We think that this cohort of ambassadors are right for the job and we're excited for what's to come. Be sure to congratulate them on their appointments as this is an amazing moment. Going forward I hope to see many more of you become ambassadors!

It's not hard to be an ambassador but it is difficult to become one since we look for maturity. There are definitely a few more responsibilities being an ambassador :)

Well like Tranq said it does take a lot of responsibility which you have to earn the responsibility by the other mods and abass. You just have to keep up a lot of the good work and just keep welcoming users and helping users who may need help or ask questions to other users on the site.

January is too soon. It'll be some time next semester most likely. We'll let you know when it opens up with an announcement post

you have to think if you are good material for this website, if u have been here for 6 or more months, have a pic of ur birth certificate to show proof of ur age and also be responcible and not get warnings left and right.
