Astrid1:

Do you guys think that Cell phones can mutate DNA?

ShadowOfDeath:

Well, I'm not a health expert, but if there is a scientist out there who does an experiment of this and it proves positive, then yes.

Astrid1:

Several scientists disagree and few agree. I have to conduct a study on this for my health class and I wanted to hear other opinions.

Astrid1:

Some say they have proof of it, but what can you base it off of. The blue light from a device. If it's all radioactive?

Astrid1:

They say that it can mutate the dna, which can cause cancer.

ShadowOfDeath:

It would have some radioactive material.

TheWraith2021:

I don't know about cell phones changing DNA. I know that cell phones are capable of emitting radiation capable of causing cancer, but I don't know about altering DNA. I suppose it's not outside the realm of possibility.

Astrid1:

Every device is gonna have radioactive material. I wouldn't think it would be possible that they could alter dna, but if they can cause cancer, I think that it could possible alter dna.

ShadowOfDeath:

Cancer is just a mutated gene is the DNA.

Aqual:

Cell phones can mutate dna

bbftyftydghvc:

yes

LowkeyPanda:

I dont believe so because if they could mutate DNA then we would all be deformed and if anything the only thing that could bc "bad" is the "5G radiation" and even then I dont believe in that so I mean I think us as a society are just fine with phones.

bbftyftydghvc:

ur dna on a phone if someone else touches that phone then it npow has both of ur dna`s
