Please refrain from personal jabs in the response sections.
I would agree with sciencegirl's response. Britain wanted to increase taxation after the French and Indian War to recover funds used for the war, and this increased taxation was one of the major factors leading to the subsequent Revolutionary War

Yea, I think it's C too. Because the top 2 are eliminated and D is wrong too. So process of elimination. A; ¨ The colonists had more freedom to live how and where they wanted.¨ Thats wrong because they definitely were not given freedom at that time. B; ¨ The colonists had greater privileges with the British military than before.¨ No, because the colonists didn't like the British. C; ¨ The colonists were more heavily taxed and prevented from moving west of the Appalachians.¨ Most likely, because they WERE taxed a lot and they did have to pay heavily. D; ¨ The colonists were given money by Britain in return for moving west of the Appalachians.¨ If the British didn't like the colonists why would they give them money, also colonists had a plan to try killing them as well and near the end, because they didn't have weapons (The colonists) some died.
